PERTH AMBOY – Ten residents were displaced by fire at their Lynd Street homes Wednesday night, authorities said. City firefighters responded around 8:22 p.m. Wednesday to two homes on Lynd Street on reports of a fire where they reported heavy fire conditions, authorities said. There were no injuries, and all occupants were safely evacuated, authorities said. Two homes were damaged and left uninhabitable, leaving 10 people displaced, authorities said, and a third building was damaged. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, according to authorities.
