Two homes were damaged by a house fire early Thursday morning in Perth Amboy. Firefighters responded to the fire on Lynd Street where the house next door was also damaged by the blaze. The Red Cross says they helped 10 people from two families who were affected by the fire and provided emergency assistance for temporary lodging, food, and clothing needs. There is no word yet on any injuries or how the fire started.
